Catlins Camping New Zealand - the new trend - comfort camping
After a day of travelling, site seeing and exploring the natural beauty of The Catlins, refresh with our clean showers and facilities and wander up to meet fellow travellers at our own Whistling Frog Cafe and Bar.
Our level, all- weather, powered van sites, keep your feet dry and mud-free. Parking on two levels provides views of the surrounding bush, with space to spread out a little.
Many are special, two-to- a- berth van sites, allowing room for your travelling buddy, two or four legged, but are trellised for privacy, with your own flax planter, all ready for ‘happy hour’.
They are close to the amenities, dump station, and are wheel chair friendly.
Catlins Camping McLean Falls Holiday Park style is comfort camping located on the Southern Scenic Route. We are close to the entrance to the McLean Falls (considered by many to be the most spectacular in the Catlins) and a short 600 metres to the entrance of the Cathedral Caves. We are ideally situated to be your base when you leave the hub bub of the main tourist destinations and need to take in a breath of fresh air and take time out to get to know the real New Zealand. Revive, relax and rejuvenate - turn back the clock and enter a world that is fast fading away ..The Catlins.

We are one of the few places that will welcome your Dog.
Bring their comfy bed and he or she will be welcome in our accommodation - and in our camping areas. There are many great places where your dog can enjoy our beautiful region as much as you will.
